Learning & Playing with Recycled Materials

Nov 20, 2012

Last week we had over well over 100 activities linked up to Tuesday Tots. If you missed them or our fabulous feature of Thanksgiving Activities for kids, you can see it here.

This week I found some awesome activities that use Recycled Materials.

We try to reuse and recycle where we can and I always take great pleasure in being able to get a second (or third...) use out of something. I think it also helps teach our children more about caring for our planet as well as being creative and resourceful.

  1. Recycling crafts are our favourite activities. It's so easy to create something from left over cardboard boxes, old CDs or anything you're thinking of throwing away. We are very concious about the environment and you really don't need to by craft equiptment when you have so much you can use that's recycled!

  2. What a great list! My kids favorite craft supplies come from our recycling bins. I've seen cities out of cardboard boxes and bugs and buses come from milk jugs. I love to see their creativity :)

  3. Thanks for featuring our paint palette. Lots of other wonderful ideas here. I'm always looking for ways to make use of all our bits and pieces

  4. Thank you for featuring my blocks! Great collection of fun activities.

  5. We love to explore recycled materials at my house. Thank you for new ways to use them.

  6. Thanks for including our tp roll corn. Such great ideas here!

  7. Great post - I love any activity that uses recycled materials but your marble run looks particularly cool. I'll be pinning this for future reference.

  8. Thanks for the great article. You show an example of how to raise children correctly. From childhood, you explain to children that garbage needs to be disassembled and recycled recycled, you make wonderful toys, various games, activities. You are well done!

Thanks for taking the time to comment! I love reading them all.
